I lived next to this laundromat for three years and it just kept going downhill, so I was happy to see that they are finally starting to renovate it. However, it's taking them forever to make the improvements. Out of all the laundromats I have seen, this one has so much potential, and if it ever was for sale I would buy it.

They are in the middle of replacing old equipment, which is very needed, and it looks like they are redoing some of the drywall. Let's hope they give this place some character while they are painting because the current look which is "homeless refuge", isn't working too well. The area around the laundromat is amazing and one of my favorite places in the city to live, Duboce Triangle. Next door is a good deli and across the street is a great cafe. All the good things around this place creates the problem of people leaving their clothes and not taking them out of the washer, meanwhile there is a line of people waiting; one of my biggest pet peeves.

At the time of this review, they have added 14 new Speed Queen dryers and one large capacity front loading washer. They are also one of the only laundromats that I have found to have water extractor machines, however they are always broken and haven't worked in at least a year. The other problem is the amount of homeless people that sleep and stay inside the laundromat. Let's hope this and the other problems are corrected so this laundromat can be one of the best.
